Biography

Geoffrey Bonython Angas PARSONS was born on 1st Feburary, 1908 Adelaide SA

His parents were (Justice) Herbert Angas PARSONS and Mary Elsie BONYTHON

Geoffrey attended St. Peters College in Adelaide and then studied law at Cambridge University in England.  He was admitted to the Bar in 1929 but returned to Australia wanting to work on the land.  He worked as a Jackeroo then in 1931 took up land at Pewsey Vale where he lived until 1970.  During this time he bred champion shorthorn cattle.  He also planted out a vineyard & made wine

On 3rd March 1934 he married Colleen Mary CUDMORE in St Peters College, Norwood SA

He enlisted on 20th April, 1942 in Lyndoch SA  with the 10th Battalion Volunteer Defence Corp. He was living at Pewsey Vale at the time,

Geoffrey died on 16th August, 1987 - burial place unknown
