Ralph Llewelyn ZIMMERMANN was born on 16th May, 1911 in Nuriootpa, SA

His parents were Gustav Adolph Benjamin ZIMMERMANN and Ida Maria KOCH

He enlisted on 23rd April, 1942 in Mannum SA

He was discharged 13th May, 1945 -posting at discharge with the 8th Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps, (Sergeant)

Ralph married Annie Minnie SHIPP on 1st September, 1934 in the Methodist Church, Wilkawatt , SA

He died on 14th September, 2006 aged 95 years - buried in the Lutheran Section of Centennial Park Cemetery in Adelaide            Path 9, Grave 318
