Son of Cornelius O'Callaghan and Ellen O'Callaghan, of Doctor's Hill, Kingwilliamstown, County Cork, Ireland.
Arrived in Australia aged 23 years
Brother of Michael O'Callaghan who was killed in action on 8 August 1915 and has no known grave. His name appears on the Lone Pine Memorial, Panel 48.
