Eric's parents were George Robert Done and Annabella Martha Walker. Eric enlisted 26 May 1917 at Sydney, New South Wales. Eric is listed on the 1922-1925 electoral roles as living at Mt Pleasant, his occupation was a farmer. He married Gladys Elizabeth Bryans in 1933 at Brisbane. He died aged 64 at Mt Isa.
