Albert’s life
Albert Alousious Jones was born on 24th May 1916 at what is now 65 Hectorville Road Hectorville Adelaide. He was the second eldest son to Albert Joseph Jones and Mary Helen Jones née McGrath. Albert jr. had 6 other siblings. Albert went to St. Joseph’s Catholic School at Hectorville as well as Rostrevor College Adelaide. When he joined the Australian Army on 9th August 1940 at Kensington Adelaide he gives his occupation as a gardener. and his mother Mary Jones as his next of kin.
Albert married Avis Clough of Murray Bridge. Albert died at Daws Road Hospital Adelaide on 13th May 1992. There were no issue. Avis died on 1st December 2013.
