Son of John Ould and Florence Louisa Ould nee Holloway of Richmond, Victoria
During 1916c Leslie married Lily May Davies in Victoria.
Commenced return to Australia on 25 September 1919 aboard HT Port Denison disembarking on 13 November 1919
