Death Notice
DEATH OF R.S.L. MEMBER
On Saturday afternoon, Mr Herbert
Edward Seebohm, a soldier of both
world wars, and husband of Mrs G.
Seebohm, of Beachport;passed away in
the Millicent hospital. Mr Seebohm,
who was born at Tantanoola 54 years,
ago, enlisted first for active service
at the age of 17.
He had been in ill-health for some
considerable time prior to his death,
which was hastened by a bad attack
of influenza.
The president of Beachport R.S.L.
sub-branch and several' members
attended the funeral in Millicent on
Monday, when the service was conducted
by the Rev. Father McSweeney.
On Monday night, before the customary
two minutes' silence, the president
asked that special thoughts be
given to their late member, when
the R.S.L. sub-branch held its monthly
meeting.
