Lloyd was the eldest of two children of George Everard England (b1894 in Bowden, South Australia) and Rhoda Margaret Westland (b1894 in Yielima, South Australia). George (a Builder) and Rhoda married in 1918 in Two Wells, SA.
Lloyd was a Builder, living with his parents in Boothby SA in 1941 when he married Olga Isobel Perone Bird (b1918 in Hindmarsh, SA) - Olga was a Confectioner.
Lloyd was working as an Aircraft Assembler in December 1944 when he enlisted in the ACMF (Private; Service No:S115621). He was attached to 19 Infantry Training Battalion when he was Discharged in June 1945.
Lloyd and Olga Divorced in 1952 and Lloyd married Hester (Esme) Florence Broadbent (nee Fraser; b1922 in Geelong, Victoria) - Esme was a Clerk. Lloyd died in 1986 and Esme in 2017.
