Peter McGregor was born in Glasgow, Scotland in sometime in 1882 with no known date. Before the war Peter was a Physical culture instructor, which is someone who encourages and instructs on ways to become healthier and stronger. He had no known involvement in the army or wars before WW1. Peter had a wife, Mrs Winifred McGregor and no other known family members.
Peter McGregor enlisted into the Australian Army on the 12th of October 1915 and was put into the 32nd Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement. He embarked from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A28 Miltiades on the 7th of February 1916. Peter stayed in the same unit the whole time during his service. There are no known records of Peter McGregor going into hospital for any illness. Peter McGregor was killed in action on the 19th of July 1916, when he entered ‘no man’s land’, France.
Peter McGregor left behind his wife who had no known record of any community involvement or such things.
