"ROLL OF HONOUR

McCULLOUGH.— In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Lieutenant William Charteris McCullough, 25th Battalion, who died of wounds in France on the 11th August, 1918, aged 23 years and 9 months.

'Time may help the broken-hearted,
Time may make the wound less sore,
But time can never stop the longing
For our loved one gone before.'

Inserted by his loving father, mother, brothers,
and sister-in-law." from The Brisbane Telegraph 11 Aug 1921 (nla.gov.au)
