Venlo enlisted on 23 October 1942, Wayville, SA, in AWAS. She was discharged 12 Dec 1944 a Sergeant in Canteens.
She married William Keith SAINSBURY (RAAF. Cpl) of Subiaco WA, August 11, 1944 in Adelaide.
Daughter Beth Sandra was born on January 2, 1946 at Calvary Hospital, to Venlo and Keith.
William was discharged on 10 April 1946.
Venlo later revertied to her maiden name Choat.
Venlo’s father Wesley and his brothers served in WW1, two of his brothers were KIA. Wesley was a POW for a time, but escaped. He was the recipient of the Military Medal
