Married with one daughter and residing at Birdwood, Kenneth was the son of Mr and Mrs. Tom COX of Birdwood. Keen on football and as captain of Tarlee Football Club, he won the medal for fairest and most brillian player. He also took many prizes for tree felling, including first and second at the Royal Spring Show in 1935. He also won ribbon presented by Duke of Gloucester for tree fellng in 1934 and at the time was the youngest contestant.
