Private Michael Ignatius Brady (Service No:S33203) served in the ACMF at Camp Woodside and with 8 Auxiliary Horse Transport Coy AASC from 8 August 1940 to 13 November 1941.
Born at Henley Beach, Adelaide, South Australia in 1917, Michael Jnr was the fourth of eight children of Michael Ignatius Brady Snr (b1887 in Virginia, Adelaide, South Australia) and Ruby Catherine Hogg (b1886 in Burnside, Adelaide, South Australia). Michael Snr and Ruby married in 1910 in Adelaide, where they settled and raised their family and Michael Snr was a Chemist.
Michael Jnr worked as a Chemist's Assistant for his father in Adelaide, and in 1950 in Adelaide married Claire Rutter (b1924 at Largs Bay, Adelaide, South Australia_ - Claire was working as a Nurse in Adelaide. Michael worked as Shopkeeper in Allenby Gardens, Adelaide, and died at Mt Gambire in 1961.
