Humble soldier.
Ronald Albert Alchin has 2 service numbers. He first joined the Armed services in 1940 #S33031, he was seriously wounded and invalided out. He over came his injuries and re-volunteered and his Service Number was #SX19403. He served until he was discharged in 1946. Both times he served in the same unit. 211th Aust Army Troops Comp R.A.E Company.
