Son of Mr and Mrs G.T. WYMAN of 68 Port Road, Southwark, SA.  Educated at Thebarton Primary School and Hindmarsh Technical School he was fond of swimming.  In civilian life he was enployed at Horwood, Batshaw Ltd., Mile End, as a stripper.  He enlisted in October 1941 and served in Darwin.
