Jimmie Lambert spent 11 years tending the garden at 105 Australian General Hospital, Daws Road Hospital.Mrs E Dutton of Kapunda desidned the garden and jimmie carried out the work to create the garden. Lambert Memorial Court was opened at Rose Park Congregational Church on April 13 1957, as he has also served as gardener and worked for the Church at Rose Park. the court was opened by Ron Sullivan was buiklt at a cost of $250 the court will be used for basketball and tennis. Jimmie was known by many ex-service people who attended the hospital. He died two years after he gave up his work, he died in September 1956.
