My Uncle Ken
My Uncle Ken passed away on September 16, 1957. I was born 26th November 1959, and named Anthony Kenneth Noble, and I grew up known as Kenny (using my second name - being named after this great bloke.)
Uncle ken was a builder of anything. Most of his activities were in the District of Napperby, just east of Port Pirie in the foot hills of the Flinders Ranges were he was born to Richard Percival Noble and Johanna Ruby Noble (nee Gates), the eldest of 6 siblings;
Kenneth Wilfred Noble
Verna Jean Budd(nee Noble)
Doreen Elva Franks (nee Noble)
Lewis Leburn Noble
John Maxwell Noble (uncle Jack)
Clyde Arnold Noble (My Dad)
As a builder he kept a Journal which is in my possession, and even though I never met him I use to always look up to him.
The main photo attached hung in the lounge room at my parent's home in Napperby.
