Son of John HORSLEY and Mary Jane JACKSON

News has been received that Pte. Darrell Horsley died of gunshot wounds which necessitated the amputation of his legs, in the 5th General Hospital, France, on March 9, 1917. Deceased was 24 years of age, and was the eldest son of Mr. J. Horsley, of Fulham. He enlisted in July, 1915 and embarked on October 27, 1915, and for the last nine months had been serving in France. His death came as a great blow to all his friends, as he was much esteemed and respected.
