Arrived in Sydney aboard the passenger ship Strathaird but was not naturalised until 7 May 1945. 

Post war she joined the Girl Guides working with displaced people and later travelled to Amercia where she married a Simon Pirouc before returning to Australia on 5 November 1956 aboard Flaminia
