Son of Mr and Mrs Sydney E HARMER of 106 Three Chain Road, Solomontown, SA. Educated at Solomontown School he was interested in and played football. Murray has three brothers in the Forces and enlisted in February 1942.
His wife Lyla Kathleen HARMER was living at 12 Eight Street, Port Pirie West, SA.
