Una Enlisted in CMF on 5.2.45, She did her orientation in Melbourne, then transferred to Adelaide and was the only one left  from her intake for a couple of weeks until she was transferred. On 15 May, 1945 she was transferred to the AIF and had active service for 820 days. She was the Secretary for Major G Patfull and followed him around the wards taking notes. Una and Major Patfull closed 105 Adelaide Hospital on 19 March, 1947 and she was transferred to Headquarters until her discharge on 5 May, 1947. Major G Patfull and Una stayed friends for the rest of their lives.

Date of Death: 12 August, 2015 aged 94 at Walkerville.
