Jack married Mary McDONALD 22.8.1942
Jack shared a bedroom with his young nephew Norman LAVIS at Blanche St., GAWLER, prior to his marriage. It was room made of flattened kerosene tins, with a compacted dirt floor. Jack came back from the war suffering from Malaria.
