Donald Alfred Turnball was awarded a Life Membership of the RSl in 1980.  He served as President  1952, secretary and treasurer 1950,73,75 to 78; Auditor 1964,65.  He was the Aron Bay delegate to the Sub Branch Confrence.  He was a Bowls organiser for the Southern Eyer Peninsular for 7 years.  A committee member of the Aron Bay War Memorial. Don as a Justice of the Peace. He served on the District Council of Cleve for the Boothby Ward.  He was awarded a life membership of the Aron Bay Sports Club.  Don was also a Office bearer to the Aron bay District Progress Association.
