My Grandfather

My Grandfather, Albert Douglas Grieves, made it back to Australia alive.
His grave has no headstone or anything that reflects that he went to war.His wife and children have battled through life and haven't been able to provide him with a headstone either. He still served for his country.
In my eyes he is still a hero as he tried saving his daughter*(my mum) from drowning in the Darling River. He got caught as well but also had a heart attack in the process and didnt make it.My great grandfather Saved my mum.
I am slowly trying to at least make his grave look a little bit respectful with artificial flowers and a rail around the grave so they know that he is still remembered.
