Dr Joseph Chenoweth Whitehouse worked as General Practitioner at Hughes Clinic, Unley Rd., Unley, until retirement.

Son of Lieut. E and Mrs. L.M. WHITEHOUSE of Samarai, Papua. Educated at Prince Alfred College, Joseph followed all sport and was mainly interested in rowing where he was Captain of the Prince Alfred eight rowing crew for 1941 and won the head of river race. He was also fond of swimming. Residing at 19 Sydenham Road, Norwood, he joined the forces in January 1942 and trained at Warradale.
