Married with one daughter, Leslie was the son of Sgt. J.P and Mrs. L.E. FULLER of 10 Torrens Street, Mitcham, SA.  Keen on all outdoor sport he was fond of shooting, fishing and swimming.  He also played football and cricket.  In civil life he worked at various occupations and for some time was at the Motoring Agency of P. Johnson, Grenvell Street, Adelaide.
