Phillip Henry Curren was awarded a life membership of the RSL in 1978 proposed by the Berri sub branch. His work for the Berri sub branch included Vice president 1977-78, secretary 1952, 69,70,71,75,76, committee 1953,54,66,67,72,73,74. Has been a consistant worker for the League maintaining its bigest ideals within the community. Was active in the Riverland football and with the Berri Swimming Club.
