Biography

Tpr. Francis James Morgan 13th Aust. Armoured Regiment, H Sqaudron AIF of Port Pirie. Aged 24. Son of Mrs Lena Margaret and the late William Stephen Morgan of 131 Little Gertrude Street Port Pirie. Educated at St Mark's School and was interested in all sports. In civil life he assisted his late father who was caretaker of the Town Hall, Port Pirie. Enlisted in 2nd AIF in August 1942 and after service in Australia was killed on the 15th June 1943 at Kingaroy Queensland. His brother, Clarence John also served in AIF.
