Son of Violet and the late H RILEY of 15a Bartels Street, Adelaide, SA.  Married and educated at Sturt Street and Norton Summit Public Schools he has played cricket and follows other sports.  In civilian life he was a presser for some years and then was employed by Richards Motor Works.  Enlisting in November 1941, Vincent trained at Noarlunga and Clapham.
