John Henry Clarence Lathlean was born in 1917 on the 5th of November. He was born in Tumby Bay, South Australia. John was part of the 10th Battalion and returned from the battle field in 1944 when the war ended. He sadly then died in 1967 at the age of 49 on the 29th of May. Originally, John was buried in the Cheltenham Cemetery in South Australia, but since then has been moved to the Garden of Remembrance in Centennial Park Civil Cemetery.
