Eric Wise was born in Gumeracha, South Australia in 1912. He was the son of Albert William Wise and Isabel Wise (nee Hanna).
Eric married Merle Beryl Grow in 1939 in the Methodist Church, Balhannah, South Australia.
During World War II Eric enlisted on 5 Aug 1942 until his discharge on 12 Nov 1945. He held the rank of Private and his posting at discharge was 13 Australian Army Ordnance Depot.
Eric Wise died in 2000.
