Staff Sergeant Clive Thomas Storer (Service No:SX21263) initially served with the ACMF (Sapper, Sergeant; Service No:S31790) with 4th District Remount Troop and 58 AA Coy RAE from 20 December 1939 to 2 July 1942. He enlisted in the AIF on 3 July 1942 and served as a Corporal and Sergeant with 58 and 74 AA Coys before being promoted to Staff Sergeant in 1943. Staff Sergeant Storer served on Thursday Island (24 January 1943 to 28 September 1944 with 74 Mobile Searchlight Battery RAA and was Discharged on 31 October 1945.

Clive was born in 1919 in Adelaide South Australia, the second of six children of Stanley Benjamin Storer (b1886 in Adelaide, South Australia) and Alice Marsella Gladice Moloney (b1889 in Kapunda, South Australia). Stanley (a Draper) and Alice married in 1916 in Robertstown, South Australia and settled in Adelaide where they raised their family and Stanley was a Draper and Manufacturer.

Clive worked as a Civil Servant in Adelaide and in 1942 married June Measday Riddle (b1919 in Adelaide, South Australia) - June worked as a Clerk. Clive and June settled in Adelaide, where June died in 2005 and Clive in 2009.
