Son of Albert Arthur and Ann Hudson; husband of Eileen Maria Hudson, of Keswick, South Australia.

Mrs. Eileen Hudson (formerly Miss Eileen Coombe), of Kent Road, Keswick, ahs been advised that her husband L. Cpl. Ross William Hudson, was accidentally killed in New Guinea on April 14. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hudson, of Anstey Crescent, Galway Gardens. After leaving Goodwood Central School, he was employed by Vardon & Sons, printers, and enlisted in October 1941. He played football for West Adealide, and for one season with St. Kilda, Victoria. He was also a playing member of the Adelaide Cricket Club.
