Son of Jaspar Clement SITGGANTS and Muriel Neil nee SMITH, of Warramboo, Eyre Peninsula. Educated at Cootra Central School he was interested in football, cricket and dancing. A farmer in civilian life he had a happy disposition and was very popular. Thomas enlisted in February 1942 and is the brother of Sgt. J.W.J. Stiggants of the 2nd AIF.
