Francis Joseph McPARLAND was born 21st November, 1892 in Ballintemple, Newton Hamilton, Armagh Ireland
He came to Australia aged about 16 years to Brisbane, Queensland & later on settled in NSW
His Parents were Patrick McPARLAND & Bridget GRANT
He died in Albury Base Hospital in 1984 aged 91 years
buried in Rookwood cemetery in Sydney with his wife Elsie May nee DARGAN who died in 1941 aged 47 - they married in 1920 in Victoria
He was affectionately known by family & friends as Pop Mac
