Alick was employed by the General Post Office at Cowell prior to enlisment. His name has been spelt different ways. This personnel record is the closest match to any recorded. His name has been inscribed on the Cowell Honour Roll as A.Paul. Eyre's Peninsula Tribune spelt his name as Alex, Alick and Alec at various times.
