Third son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.J. NETTING of Port Pirie.  Educated at St Peter's College Adelaide and interested in running, Raymond was residing at 42 Goode Road, Port Pirie when he enlisted in December 1941 and was married with three children.  Prior to enlistment he was employed as an electrial fillter with the B.H.A. Smelters at Port Pirie.

He died on 5th December, 1980, late of Towradgi Park Retirement Village in New South Wales
