25 Jul 1916: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 4338, 5th Infantry Battalion, Battle for Pozières , GSW to right wrist. Evacuated to UK. Rejoined unit 25 November 1916.
3 Mar 1917: Imprisoned 'The Winter Offensive' - Flers/Gueudecourt winter of 1916/17, Pte Warren and several others were captured when they were attacked by German patrols forward of the line near Flers. Pte Warren was also wounded (to face - no other details). He was repatriated to UK on 13 December 1918.
7 Jul 1919: Discharged AIF WW1, Private, 4338, 5th Infantry Battalion, RTA 16 March 1919 and discharged as MU.
