The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 30 and 273. Prior to the war he was a farmer of Brisbane Qld. He enlisted 17th Sep 1915 aged 20 years. He served with the 41st Infantry Battalion for the time that this book was written, serving as a Lance Corporal. He was cited for the Military Medal for his activities. He survived the war, departing the UK for home 8th Nov 1918.
