Keith was married to Lynneth Clare their children were Will and Laura. Keith Griggs was a dedicated community man. He was the instigators of the Prospect Hill Museum which despite the Ash Wednesday Bushfires survived and still operates in 2016. This is one of his legacies. He rallied locals to donate materials for this venture. Ida Harvey's collection of hundreds of scent bottles was donated. Others cleared their sheds of implements and artefacts as the settlement of the area was shortly after the colonial settlment of South Australia, to show others the skills they brought and hardships these people endure in the new land.
