Biography

Pte. J H Ralph 2/27th Batt. AIF of Monash, RM Aged 21. Married with a baby son. Son of Mr and Mrs J H Ralph of Monash. Educated at Monash Public School. Fond of cricket and played in the local cricket team. Was fruit growing in civil life. Enlisted in 2nd AIF in February 1941 and sailed for overseas in June 1941. Took part in active service in the Middle East and returned to Australia in March 1942. Sent to New Guinea where he was reported killed in action on 6th September 1942.
