Son of Mrs Annie MACKAY of 903 Eyre Street, Ballarat, Vic.

Husband of Ellie Matilda M MACKAY of 34 York Road, Port Pirie, SA.  William was married with one daughter (12) and had been educated at Dana Street Public School Ballarat.  He enlisted in March 1941 and saw service in the Middle East.
