SX9681 E L Taylor was an original member of the South Australian raised, 7th Div Petrol Company.
Captain T.C. Williamson formed the company, mid 1940, Adelaide.
The company served in the Middle East until disbandment.
E L Taylor was reassigned to the 2/5 coy, AASC 7th Division. 13/1/1942.
He served in the Middle east, New Guinea and Borneo.
On the 12 August 1945, SX9681 E L Taylor signed the Balikpapan Flag with 57 others. 17 of those were from the original South Australian raised, 7th Division Petrol Company.
