Husband of Susan Mary Owens nee Kelly of Bourke Street, Surry Hills, NSW. Francis and Susan were married during 1904c in Sydney, NSW.

Disembarked on 25 October 1918 at Sierra Leone due to illness re-embarking on 22 December 1918 for return to Australia aboard HT Saxon disembarking on 1 February 1919
