Only son of Mr and Mrs A.L. LANG of Mount Gambier. Married Miss Ella PANNELL of Mount Gambier on 24th December 1940 and was residing at 46a Wehl Street, Mount Gambier. Educated at Norwood Primary and High Schools, he was interested in tennis and was a member of the Norwood Colts Football Team (official sprigger for 3 years). Kenneth was also a committee-man and player of the Mount Gambier Band. In civilian life he was a representative for the M.L.C. Insurance Company. Enlisting in June 1940 he sailed for overseas in December 1940. Kenneth was a member of the 2nd/43rd Battalion Band and a stretcher bearer. He served in Tobruk for 7 months, and in Syria and Egypt where he was wounded in July 1942.
