Son of Mr and Mrs John DAVIES of Cardiff, Wales.

Husband of Ivy May DAVIES of 13 Fifth Street, Port Pirie West, SA

Albert served in the Great War of 1914/18 enlisting at 15 years of age in the Mercantile Marines.  In civilian life he was employed at the B.H.A. Smelters in Port Pirie.  Enlisting in July 1940 in the Field Ambulance, he has seen service in Palestine, the Middle East and Syria.  Private Davies married Miss Ivy TREZISE in 1934 and has a daughter.
