7th Division Petrol Company

SX7180 Frederick William Rackham was an original member of the South Australian raised, 7th Div Petrol Company.
Captain T.C. Williamson formed the company, mid 1940, Adelaide.

The company served in the Middle East until disbandment.
F W Rackham was transferred to the 2/5 coy, AASC 7th Division. 13/1/1942.

F W Rackham subsequently served with other units of the 7th Division AASC.

He served in the Middle east, New Guinea and Borneo.

On the 12 August 1945, SX7180 F W Rackham signed the Balikpapan Flag, with 57 others in Borneo.

17 of the signatories (including F W Rackham) were original members of the South Australian, 7th Division Petrol Company.
