Eric was awarded a Life Membership with the RSL in 1974.  At the St.Peters sub branch he served ias president in 1951,54,55 as vice3 president 1949 and 1965, on the committee 1948,49,53,56 to 59, 62,65,72,73 and as the sports secretary 1947 to 50 and 1954.
