Son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles TRIGG of 35 Amanda Street, Port Pirie, SA.  Alfred was married with two children and residing at 29 Bakewell Road, Evandale when he enlisted in June 1940.  Educated at Port Pirie West Public School.  He saw service in the Middle East, Egypt and Palestine.
