Son of Edwin Walter and Ethel Mary Fielding of Bridgewater, Sa.

Husband of Noma Christina Fielding, of 7 Wolsden street, North Walkerville, South Australia.

B. Eng. (Adelaide). 

Educated at Pulteney Grammar and Adelaide Technical High Schools he went onto Adelaide University and won the Angus Engineering Exhibition and graduated B.E. in 1933.  Interested in rifle shooting and tennis he was an Electrical Engineer in civilian life and when he enlisted in July 1940 was employed by the Adelaide Electric Supply Company.  He was killed in action in Egypt on 27th July 1942.
